Hear What Our Riders Say About Denali ATV

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

All Denali ATV trips are guided by professional, knowledgeable guides. There is always a front guide leading the tour group, and a back guide. If the group is large or it’s a dusty day, a middle guide may be available.

Absolutely! Our experienced guides will facilitate your experience, and there’s a short practice session before the main tour. No experience is necessary for single ATVs, and side-by-side ATVs are easy to drive, similar to a car.

We require 2 units to be booked for a tour to depart. Since units can fit 1-6 people, the number of actual people on a tour may vary.

Yes, there are designated stopping points during each tour at scenic points and overlooks. If you need to stop at any point, simply alert a guide.

It is customary to tip your guides about 10% if they did a good job and you had a great time on the ATV Denali Trip. Tips can be made on-site in cash, Venmo, or at the Tour Office after the tour by cash or credit card.

It is illegal to ATV in the national park. Our trails are surrounded on 3 sides by the park, providing a park experience without entering.

Alaska State law requires all ATV drivers to be 16 years of age or older. Single ATV drivers must be 18 or 16 with parental permission and a valid ID.

During the summer, the temperature can be anywhere from 30-90 degrees, and weather conditions can vary. Tours proceed in all conditions, so it’s best to be prepared for everything!

We require a 48-hour (2-day) notice for cancellations and rescheduling of tours. We will work with you to reschedule another more appropriate date. Under 48 hours, changing the reservation day or time will incur a fee, 25% of the total tour bill. If you need to cancel entirely, we will provide a full refund with a 48-hour (2-day) notice. If you are late for your tour or do not show up, you will not be refunded. As a company, we will have incurred all the same expenses and may have turned away other guests who wanted your spot. Plan well in advance for traffic and transportation schedules.

Weather Policy: ATV tours depart and continue in all conditions. There are multiple microclimates in the Denali region, making it difficult to predict the weather on any given day. Weather changes quickly so it’s best to be prepared for everything!

Wear clothing appropriate for all weather and trail conditions. Layers are best in Denali, including a wind/rain layer. Choose clothing that can get dirty or wet. Closed-toe shoes are required, and sturdy sneakers or boots are recommended for the tour.

Our tour office is open from 7am to 9pm during the summer season. In 2024, we will operate tours May 17 – September 8.
