Denali National Park is roughly 154 miles north — about 2 hours and 40 minutes by car. Fairbanks is approximately 360 miles north of Anchorage, making it a longer commitment from Talkeetna. The Kenai Peninsula and Seward are accessible by driving south through Anchorage, adding a few more hours. This positioning allows visitors to pair Talkeetna’s mountain and river adventures with coastal scenery or urban amenities in Anchorage on a single Alaska itinerary.
